Deactivation of MIX e-mail accounts-Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011

To assist you in transitioning your e-mail service, graduates have the option to provide a forwarding address for your MIX e-mail, so that mail received will be forwarded to the new address that you specify. In order to have a forwarding address setup on your MIX e-mail account, please call the WVU Help Desk at 304.293.4444 no later than Jan., 24, 2011. A Help Desk representative will assist you with setting up e-mail forwarding, but your request must be received on or before this date.

You should also plan to forward or copy any existing mail from your MIX mailbox prior to Jan. 24, 2011, at which time your MIX e-mail account will be deactivated. You should also save any documents from your e-mail to your hard drive as these will also be deleted.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, so that we can help to ensure a successful transition of your e-mail service in accordance with this scheduled deactivation.
