Submit a MIX announcement
To submit an item for MIX Personal or Campus announcements please include the following required information in an email:
- Your Name
- Title
- Department
- Phone
- Title of Message (Up to 50 Characters)
- Message (Less than 30,000 Characters including spaces for personal announcements, Campus announcements should be considerably shorter)
- Personal announcements should have majors list NOT by code but by name.
- Date the item should be posted and date it needs to be removed.
If you are a student organization, you should use the student organization calendar at http://calendar.wvu.edu/studentorgs/ to submit items for the calendar that will be posted in MIX. Club meetings and special events can be posted there and will feed into MIX. You can post recurring meetings for the year at this site.
Note: Any request lacking one of the above items will not be posted. Any message exceeding the size limitations will be edited to meet the requirements.
MIX cannot send attachments. MIX can post text only. If a form must be used, please contact Web Services and we can post pdf’s to the Web that can be linked from MIX.
Announcements should be submitted at least two business days prior to being posted. Announcements sent after 3 p.m. are subject to be posted the next day. Items submitted on the weekend won’t be posted until Monday unless it is an emergency.

WARNING: Any fraudulent submittal shall be investigated and may result in University disciplinary action.
